Acer Np Roadshow 2006 (23 -29 March)
Wow..! A week of intensive and tiring work days are finally over!
Thou it was sheer hardship but it was made realli enjoyable by the funky and motivative ppl...had been working 8.30am to 8.30pm day in day out for the pass 6 days...time realli flies when u are enjoying wadever u r doing even when i comes to work...Waking up in the early morning dont realli seems to be my habit but oh well work required mi to reach at 8.30am...draggin the zombified body of mine out if the bed...trying to shake off the fatigue out of mi wif a cold morning shower...a big thank you for those pple that had been giving mi morning calls...bus 67 seems to be always late to pick mi up...the convention centre,well known for their air cons...seems lyk a gigantic freezer...lolx...alrite the day will start wif a briefing by bosses,Jane and Imelda...following which setting up of lappy...9.00am sharp every promoter from each company will station themselves at the convention center's main door...awaiting for the so call "First Blood"...First customer tt is...10+Lenovo staffs, 10+Dell staffs,and a few Acer staffs getting ready to fight it out just to get customers' attention...there were time where customers are swamped by 20 over promoters trying to stuff flyers into their faces...lolx...wifout fail,customers are being freighten off,rejecting every offer...tis is wad i call front line soldiers...the first to chiong and die...in this case i prefer to be a backup soldier...after a day of analying...customer usually perfer to enter the convention center wifout any "tour guide"...and would approach the booth which is more appealing to them...this is when the backup soldiers comes in and lead them...they would feel more comfortable than having the frontline soldiers guiding them all the way into the convention center...Sales is not an easy job to do...after hours and hour of promoting the products, most customers will just say "i will take a look around"...then we will be going "OMG,SIANX..WASTE MY TIME"...lolx...when the next customer comes, the process repeats itself...I m sure all the different Acer laptop specs are at the back of our minds...TM3282WXMi,TM3012WTMi,AS5672WLMi,TM8204WLMi...

still can rmb Jason losing his voice after the 1st day...oh my...everyone is busy wif customer...we even gave customers our hp no. just to make them come back to us when they decided on the lappy they wanna buy...just to save our efforts...good and bad stuffs happens when our no. are on the fliers...customers start msging and calling in the middle of the nite and even be4 the sun is out...there was one customer that msg mi enquiring about the mode of payment at 6am...omg...PLS I NID TO SLP!!!i dont provide 24hr services!lolx...Oh well...kinda recieved alot of calls bout laptops...some gals even msged make fwens...lolx...Poor Vincent having cases of grandma offering their granddaughters to him as galfwens...lolx...Wow...how wonderful...lolx..Funny shit...Meet all type of customers during the roadshow...from rich and poor minster,stupid uncle aunties that more hell out of a noise,blur rich pple that buy anything they see and wad touches mi the most is pple that dont mind buying a lousier laptops to save money for they parents out of their own good nature...Salute!Packed lunch and dinner were getting better and better each day...Ending the day wif a debrief my our sales manager , Imelda...after which all of us head straight home..cant wait to get back to our lovely bed...!SUPER TIRING But Great experience!
Now comes to the credit part...
Firstly,to my wonderful group of 6...The lovely couple,RenHao and Candy...Buddy Vincent...Top seller,Kian Ming...Our ever technical salesperson who can tell u every precise detail of the laptop,Key teng...
Ps.: Dont think we could clinch the top group sales wifout any of u guys...Yup our hardwork are being paid off...hurray!
Secondly,to all those whu work side by side,taking care of each other where every they can...My best buddies Andre,Jason,Steph,KokPing,Lornie,Kylie,Chris,YongDa,Skye,Sean...

Thirdly,to our bosses...Imelda and Jane...They were they slackest and the nicest boss i every met...Have u every seen a boss asking u to line up for Ice Cream and milo for the staffs during work?Share jokes and crap around wif us..?Constant adding of pays?allow us to watch LOTR and lots of movies during work and even join in?lolx...
Ps.: Both of u really provided us wif alot of motivation and made our jobs enjoyable and memorable...!
Ps. to all: Hope we can have the chance to work side by side again...enjoying every minute and every second working as a team and fighting off competition from booths...
